The central element in each KEM is a model region manager. Together with partners from the region, projects are implemented around the topics of renewable energy, reduction of energy consumption, sustainable construction, climate-neutral mobility and awareness raising.

There are currently more than 120 KEM regions throughout Austria. In the Energy Park, we oversee two of these climate and energy model regions.

[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]The KEM Carnuntum with KEM Manager Philip Loitsch has been focusing on the implementation of measures in the villages of Scharndorf, Hundsheim and Petronell-Carnuntum since 2021. In close cooperation with politicians and the population, some forward-looking projects have already been implemented. Characterized by the special location of the sites between the two major cities of Vienna and Bratislava, the challenges here are to optimally combine historical heritage in Carnuntum and the high potential of renewable energy in the region.

[/vc_column_text]

     Mehr zur KEM-Carnuntum

[vc_column_text]

The KEM Energie³ has been in existence since 2017 and encompasses the towns of Bruck/Leitha, Höflein and Göttlesbrunn-Arbesthal.
