During this period, you save <strong>20% of the grid costs<\/strong> on the electricity you consume between <strong>10:00 and 16:00<\/strong> every day. <\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><strong>Why does this tariff exist?<\/strong><br \/>\nDue to the rapid expansion of photovoltaic systems, more electricity is often produced during the midday hours than is actually needed. Anyone who deliberately shifts their electricity consumption to this time and thus reduces the load on the grid will now be rewarded. <\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><strong>How you benefit:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li>Postpone energy-intensive activities (e.g. washing, dishwashing, charging appliances) until midday.<\/li>\n<li>Make the most of the favorable period between 10:00 and 16:00.<\/li>\n<li>The <strong>prerequisite<\/strong> for this is an installed <strong>smart meter <\/strong>and activation of the <strong>opt-in function<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">With the opt-in, your electricity consumption is <strong>measured every quarter of an hour<\/strong>, making time-based billing possible. The settings can be easily adjusted via your grid operator&#8217;s <strong>smart meter portal<\/strong>.
