Fuel price brake in force!<\/b><\/p>\n

The fuel price brake has been in force since April 1, 2026. Since yesterday (April 2), it has also been noticeable at petrol stations (more information: here<\/a>.<\/span>) This will provide relief for households that have been confronted with increasingly expensive fuel prices since the start of the Iran war. That is good in the short term. But we urgently need long-term solutions! <\/p>\n

More independent in the long term: electric cars<\/strong>
Switching to electric cars makes you less dependent on oil prices and crises. Electricity prices are currently also volatile, as they are still linked to fossil fuels. An expansion of renewable energies (electricity mix of wind power, hydropower and PV) strengthens the regional economy, makes us independent and leads to lower prices in the long term. If you have an electric car and your own PV system, you are already driving ecologically and cheaply! <\/p>\n

Alternatives to the car<\/strong><\/p>\n

However, it would make even more sense to get away from motorized private transport altogether! Switching to public transport or cycling is not only cheaper, but also much better for our environment. <\/p>\n

The fuel price brake provides relief today – in the long term, it pays to focus on sustainable mobility.
