The fact that hedgehogs have around 5,000 spines and that each ladybug eats 150 aphids a day were some of the interesting facts that impressed kindergarten children at the Nature in the Garden exhibition in the Volkshaus Lanzendorf. Lanzendorf’s environmental councillor Heinz Blocher presented some of the plants that grow in local gardens. Finally, the children created an insect-friendly flower meadow.
