Five municipalities – one goal: to counter the effects of climate change. With the founding of KLAR! Am Leithaberge a clear signal was set.

CLEAR! What is behind it?
Behind the name KLAR! is a program that makes sense: municipalities are given the opportunity to prepare for climate change. The Climate and Energy Fund supports Austrian regions in reducing the damage caused by the effects of climate change and seizing the opportunities that arise. As part of a KLAR! (Climawandelaadaptationregion), a concept is developed for the region in question, in which consideration is given in advance – also involving the citizens of the municipalities, schoolchildren … – and in which measures can be taken to minimize the negative consequences of climate change. Climate fit and adapted
So that we remain a place worth living in. The five municipalities want to prepare together and find solutions. They are called upon to ensure a high quality of life in the long term, because temperature extremes, drought … are already affecting us here. Developing ideas together, finding and implementing solutions together, the use of synergies is valuable for climate change adaptation.
