Vehicle fleet analysis in the KEM municipalities

Vehicle fleet analysis in the KEM municipalities: Well positioned for the future of mobility

Last week, a comprehensive vehicle fleet analysis was carried out in all three KEM municipalities. The aim of this measure was to evaluate the municipalities’ current vehicle fleets and identify potential for a switch to e-mobility.

The current status of the vehicle fleet was surveyed and analyzed with regard to the question of where a switch to an e-vehicle could be useful.

The pleasing result: all three municipalities are already very well positioned in terms of their vehicle fleets. Many vehicles have only been renewed in recent years and are in a modern, reliable condition. In addition, each municipality already has at least one electric vehicle, which underlines the use of climate-friendly mobility solutions to date.

The analysis was supported by external consultant Philip Kalomiris from the mobility company Fresh Mobility. An acute need for action was identified for just one vehicle. Kalomiris presented the municipality in question with several viable options for switching to an electric vehicle and was confident that a suitable solution could be found in the near future.
