At a kick-off meeting and kick-off in June 2023, the course was set for KLAR! Am Leithaberge was set. The municipalities of Trautmannsdorf, Götzendorf, Mannersdorf, Hof and Au are thus taking a clear stand against climate change. Those responsible in the five municipalities are fully behind the project. After all, climate change is affecting Austria’s regions and is not stopping at our doorstep. Adaptation to the effects of climate change is necessary in order to ensure a high quality of life in our region in the long term. Mayor Johann Laa from Trautmannsdorf is one of the driving forces behind the project. He is particularly pleased that it is now official with the kick-off meeting: KLAR! Am Leithaberge is starting. “Here in Trautmannsdorf, it quickly became clear that we wanted to be part of a climate change adaptation model region. Our municipality – like the partner municipalities from our KLAR! – partner municipalities, our municipality will have the opportunity to prepare for climate change and minimize the negative consequences through adaptation measures.
