Bicycle professionals in Scharndorf!
At the Scharndorf kindergarten today, everything revolved around two wheels, helmets and road safety: an exciting bicycle workshop transformed the grounds – including a closed-off road – into a real training ground for young and old cycling pros.
A total of 42 children mastered the course, which was peppered with many varied challenges. From cornering and braking correctly to giving hand signals – the children practiced correct behavior in road traffic in a fun way. The children were supported by trained staff from the Climate Alliance, who guided them through the workshop with great empathy and pedagogical skill.
In addition to the joy of cycling, the focus was on one thing above all: safety. The exercises strengthen the children’s motor skills and raise their awareness of important traffic rules. This laid the foundation for safe behavior in road traffic and sustainable mobility awareness.
The children’s enthusiasm was clearly noticeable – with beaming faces and lots of driving pleasure, the workshop was an unforgettable experience. The workshop was supported with funds from KEM Carnuntum.
