Bicycle workshop at the Hundsheim kindergarten
On May 5, the Hundsheim kindergarten once again held a bicycle workshop for all children. The children were taught safe behavior in road traffic in a playful and fun way. The trainers from the Climate Alliance designed varied exercises in which the children were able to learn important riding techniques.
In several rounds, the children practiced, among other things, braking to a stop, ducking through hanging obstacles, driving over ramps, passing through narrow passages and driving around obstacles. The focus was on both skill and safety.
It was particularly nice to see the children’s great enthusiasm for cycling. Even those children who had little experience on a bike became more confident from lap to lap and visibly gained confidence on their bikes.
