Autumn has clearly arrived. The last harvest of this year has also been brought in at Sonnenfeld. We look back with gratitude on a successful year at our Sonnenfeld agri-PV system in Bruck/Leitha. Thanks to the movable panels, which track the position of the sun, the Sonnenfeld should deliver more solar power yield than a fixed, elevated system. This assumption proved to be correct in 2024, with almost 20% more solar power being harvested over the year. Agricultural use of the research facility is also being evaluated on an ongoing basis. The fact that cultivation works smoothly, even with heavy and large agricultural equipment such as a combine harvester, was confirmed again this year. The organic farmers are also consistently satisfied with the quality of the harvest yield. Despite the weather conditions and capricious weather this year, we can be satisfied. After the harvest is before the harvest! Immediately after the soybean harvest, we started digging and sowing, making preparations for the 2025 farming year. New agricultural products from the Sonnenfeld await us here: in addition to soy, linseed and malting barley from the Sonnenfeld will also be available for the first time in 2025.
