The long-standing partnership between Energiepark Bruck/Leitha and the market town of Trautmannsdorf is continued and sealed with the signing of a partnership agreement. The focus is clearly on the construction of new wind turbines.
The Energiepark Bruck/Leitha and the market town of Trautmannsdorf an der Leitha can look back on a successful, long-standing partnership that is characterized by a common goal: the sustainable expansion of renewable energy and the environmentally friendly development of Trautmannsdorf.
The two partners have been working closely together for years to implement innovative projects in the field of renewable energy. For example, the Bruck/Leitha Energy Park breathed new life into the site of the old Seidl mill with the construction of a small hydropower plant in 2021. The continuation of the successful partnership is to be further intensified through the joint development of new projects and initiatives. The focus here is particularly on the expansion of wind energy. There are plans to expand the existing wind farm in Stixneusiedl and Sarasdorf.
Johann Laa, Mayor of the market town of Trautmannsdorf, is delighted with the long-standing regional cooperation: “Energiepark Bruck/Leitha is a reliable partner with whom we have already been able to realize projects. The fact that we can now use hydropower in Trautmannsdorf again thanks to the energy park is a prime example of this. We look forward to continuing this success story in the future. The municipal council’s approval of the signing of the partnership agreement for the construction of new wind turbines between the market town of Trautmannsdorf an der Leitha and the Energiepark Bruck/Leitha continues the successful joint path and seals the joint path to a renewable future.
