Petronell elementary school is now a Climate Alliance school!
An important step for climate protection: Petronell elementary school is now officially a Climate Alliance school! As part of the theater performance of “Dudu auf Naturschatzssuche”, the Climate Alliance badge and the official certificate were presented to the 3rd grade on behalf of the entire school.
As a Climate Alliance school, Petronell elementary school is committed to actively supporting climate protection measures and integrating the topic of sustainability into lessons across all subjects. In doing so, it sends out a strong signal for environmental awareness and future-oriented learning.
Primary school principal Doris Gelb, class teacher Elke Scheibstock, local councillor Birgit Dietrich (ÖVP) and KEM Carnuntum manager Tina Rigler were also present for the ceremonial presentation of the certificate by Edouard Raix (actor from Dudu, Climate Alliance). They all welcomed the school’s membership of the Climate Alliance and emphasized the importance of early environmental education.
