Save electricity costs now with the summer low tariff!
Good news for all electricity customers: From April to September, you can now actively reduce your electricity costs! During this period, you save 20% of the grid costs on the electricity you consume between 10:00 and 16:00 every day.
Why does this tariff exist?
Due to the rapid expansion of photovoltaic systems, more electricity is often produced during the midday hours than is actually needed. Anyone who deliberately shifts their electricity consumption to this time and thus reduces the load on the grid will now be rewarded.
How you benefit:
- Postpone energy-intensive activities (e.g. washing, dishwashing, charging appliances) until midday.
- Make the most of the favorable period between 10:00 and 16:00.
- The prerequisite for this is an installed smart meter and activation of the opt-in function
With the opt-in, your electricity consumption is measured every quarter of an hour, making time-based billing possible. The settings can be easily adjusted via your grid operator’s smart meter portal. Activate the opt-in function and start saving immediately!
