With the founding of KLAR! The municipalities of Au am Leithaberge, Hof am Leithaberge, Götzendorf an der Leitha, Mannersdorf am Leithagebirge and Trautmannsdorf an der Leitha are taking a clear stand against climate change.
The region. KLAR Am Leithaberge – What’s behind it?
The name KLAR! stands for a program that makes sense: municipalities are given the opportunity to prepare for climate change. Supported by the Climate and Energy Fund, a KLAR! – Climate Change Adaptation Model Region – develops a concept for its own region on how to minimize the negative consequences of climate change through measures.

In the KLAR! At Leithaberge, we are focusing on various measures, which we have summarized in the concept. Ideas for this were collected with citizens in the fall/winter of 2023/24 in the KLAR! ideas workshop. The implementation concept was developed in spring 2024. We really got started at the beginning of summer 2024.

The core team of the KLAR! Am Leithaberge consists of mayors, municipal councillors and committed citizens from the five municipalities

The municipality responsible for the project is the market town of Trautmannsdorf an der Leitha.
