This year, three prizes were distributed to the Höflein and Bruck/Leitha (Wilfleinsdorf and Höfleiner Straße) kindergartens as part of the European Mobility Week in the Energie³ climate and energy model region (KEM). In the pre-Christmas period, the Bruck Mobility Week team visited the Bruck Höfleinerstraße and Wilfleinsdorf kindergartens and packed some great presents: balance bikes for even more fun and exercise in the gym and outdoors. Mayor Gerhard Weil and City Councillor for Education Lisa Miletich were delighted and congratulated: “The primary school teachers took part in the European Mobility Week with great commitment and implemented various activities for sustainable mobility in a playful way with the children. They were voted the most committed kindergartens in Austria by a jury and received running bikes for the children.” Höflein took part in the European Mobility Week for the first time this year and was able to bring home a prize straight away. Thanks to this campaign and the previous special funding for vehicles, all kindergartens are now well equipped with vehicles for the children. We wish all the children lots of fun getting around!
