Nasturtiums are not only beautiful to look at, the flowers and leaves can also be eaten. Over the summer, the little gardeners at Göttlesbrunn-Arbesthal elementary school were busy cultivating their nasturtiums. The aim of the project was to grow the largest nasturtium over the summer in order to emphasize the importance of plants for a healthy climate. Class teacher Gracia Ganser is proud of her pupils who have nurtured their plants so successfully during the vacations. KEM-Energie³ manager Irene Schrenk is also impressed: “I am delighted that you were so enthusiastic about the project. What you have achieved with your nasturtiums is fantastic”. The hard-working pupils of the 4th grade elementary school were congratulated with three flower pots for the school class. This means that the gardening knowledge they have acquired can be applied throughout the school year and the topic of climate is a recurring theme.
