The three municipalities of Scharndorf, Hundsheim and Petronell-Carnuntum have been writing history together for thousands of years.
Roman history is now being continued into a sustainable energy future with KEM-Carnuntum.

Small, but OHO.

With the three municipalities of Scharndorf, Hundsheim and Petronell-Carnuntum, KEM-Carnuntum is one of the smallest KEM regions in Austria in terms of both population and area…

All the more reason to think big in this region… With over 40 wind turbines in the region, the three municipalities have been strong drivers of the climate and energy transition for years. With the KEM-Carnuntum, the commitment to climate and energy is being thought through on a municipal and private level.
